About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Automotive Assistant to join our team at P & J SPRING & WHEEL ALIGNMENT SERVICE LTD. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our garage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers with tasks and projects as directed.
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public.
  • Help maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Support the installation, maintenance, and repair of motor vehicles.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a noisy, dusty, and odorous environment.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require manual dexterity and combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with 32 hours of work per week. The work site is located in an urban area, and the work setting is in a garage. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
