Job Title: Automotive Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Automotive Assistant to join our team at P & J SPRING & WHEEL ALIGNMENT SERVICE LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist our mechanics with various tasks, including moving equipment, signaling safety procedures, and cleaning machines and work areas.

Responsibilities:
  • Move tools, equipment, and other materials as required
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public
  • Help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas
Work Environment:

The Automotive Assistant will work in a fast-paced garage environment with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Ability to work in a noisy, dusty, and odorous environment
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and bending
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in the automotive industry
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Reliability and flexibility
