About the Role

The Miller Group, a subsidiary of Colas Canada, is seeking a skilled Snow Plow Operator to join our winter maintenance team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for safely operating a spreader, plow wing, combo unit, and/or tow plow to perform snow removal on local roads and highways.

Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate documentation, such as fuel reports, safety reports, and hours of service, as well as performing routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment. You will also be required to familiarize yourself with route maps and sand/salt application rates.

Requirements
  • DZ or AZ license with a clean driver's abstract
  • Ability to work assigned shifts, including evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to drive manual transmission
  • Previous experience in winter-works operations
  • Mechanical knowledge and ability to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs
