Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing snow clearing and de-icing operations for commercial properties in Brampton, ON. This role involves operating heavy equipment, such as tractors and loaders, to ensure safe and efficient snow removal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment to clear snow and ice from roadways, parking lots, and other designated areas.
  • Maintain clean sites, ensuring no property damage during snow removal.
  • Respond to emergency calls for snow removal, particularly during heavy snowfalls or severe weather conditions.
  • Maintain communication with supervisors and dispatch to report road conditions, progress, and any issues encountered.
  • Work in challenging weather conditions, including cold temperatures, snowstorms, and potentially at night, to ensure timely snow removal.
  • Maintain records of work completed, including time logs, equipment maintenance records, and reports on materials used.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Three years of experience in a snow removal role.
  • Flexible availability, including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • On-call availability from November to April.
  • Cell phone data plan required.
