Northern Reflections is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Shift Leader to join our store team. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for assisting management with the opening and closing of the store, as well as overseeing all aspects of the store during your shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Management Team in achieving store sales budgets and meeting daily, weekly, and year-to-date sales targets.
- Meet or exceed daily personal sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Provide exceptional customer service and utilize Fundamental Selling Skills to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
- Maintain store operations standards by ensuring timely processes, including opening and closing procedures, markdowns, and point-of-sale transactions.
- Promote campaign goals and sell Northern as a brand by utilizing product knowledge and the Northern name.
- Effectively coach and provide feedback to store associates on personal productivity measures.
- Process customer purchases quickly and accurately at the cash register.
- Demonstrate open, respectful, and courteous communication.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including maintaining store visual layouts and assisting with product preparation.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year retail/customer service experience in a specialty store, preferably apparel, with some exposure to team leadership.
- Proven ability to attain or exceed sales goals (KPIs).
- Passion for fashion and ability to build outfits for customers.
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to work well with a productive team.
- Proven ability to inspire, coach, and motivate a team to reach sales goals.
- Flexibility to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet business needs.
- Ability to adapt to the needs of the customer and store team.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with confidence.
