Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at North Atlantic Sushi Inc. as a key member of our culinary department. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our quality control standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports, maintaining accurate records and providing timely updates to management.
- Scheduling: Establish work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet customer demand.
- Criminal Record Check: A valid criminal record check is required for this position.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
- Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring regular walking and attention to detail.
- Personal Suitability: Strong client focus, team player, initiative, and dependability are essential qualities for this role.
- Work Term: Permanent position with a regular schedule of 30-40 hours per week.
- Work Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
