We are seeking a skilled Materials Technician to join our team at Allnorth, a multi-disciplinary engineering and project delivery company. As a Materials Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of materials used in our projects.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct laboratory and field testing on aggregate, soils, concrete, and grout to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Collect, prepare, and review field notes and data for presentation to clients or supervisors.
- Attend client meetings to discuss safety, quality, and contractual matters.
- Manage daily work schedules and address issues arising from field activities.
- Perform equipment calibrations and certifications.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in materials testing.
- Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in concrete testing and aggregate sampling.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to work varied shifts and remote sites.
