Insurance and Financial Services Advisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Insurance and Financial Services Advisor to join our dynamic team at Charon Clute Insurance Agency Inc. in Barrie, ON.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional to work with a professional insurance office that provides exceptional customer service at every contact. As an Insurance and Financial Services Advisor, you will be responsible for developing leads, scheduling appointments, identifying customer needs, and selling appropriate products and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Work closely with the agent and other team members to establish and meet sales goals
  • Respond to client inquiries and concerns, including coverages, policy changes, claim submissions, and billing issues

Requirements:

  • OTL or RIBO and/or LLQP license preferred but not required at the time of interview
  • OTL will need to be obtained prior to start date at applicant cost with employer reimbursement after meeting set employment criteria
  • LLQP will be required within 3 months of employment start date
  • Sales experience, preferably in outside sales or inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment
  • Valid driver's license
  • Subject to a Criminal Record and Consumer History background check
