Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic Millwright

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Mechanic Millwright to join our team. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of mechanical and electrical components, as well as experience with various shop tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on plant equipment, ensuring cleanliness and optimal functionality.
  • Perform troubleshooting and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
  • Make major and minor adjustments to equipment within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Conduct enhancements to equipment and systems, exploring and evaluating new equipment.
  • Maintain comprehensive maintenance records and ensure accessibility of all relevant information.
  • Complete and submit required reports.
  • Implement equipment and system improvements, researching and testing new equipment.
  • Serve as the first responder and verifier in emergency situations.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • 5 years of experience in mechanical and electrical work, encompassing setup, adjustments, and troubleshooting.
  • Preferred possession of a valid Industrial skilled trades license (Millwright) from Ontario or any Canadian province.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with good mechanical aptitude.
  • Able to report to a 4-day/10-hour shift.
  • Strong communication skills – verbal and written.
