Senior Credit Analyst, Energy and Industrials

Fitch Group, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Senior Credit Analyst to join our Global Infrastructure and Project Finance team in Toronto. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing and rating infrastructure and project finance transactions, with a focus on the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of infrastructure and project finance transactions, including wind, LNG, solar, and transmission projects.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the energy sector, including market trends, regulatory environments, and credit risk factors.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to develop and implement rating methodologies and criteria.
  • Communicate complex credit analysis and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and investors.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and market trends to ensure accurate and timely credit analysis.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Finance, Business, or Public Administration.
  • Proven experience in project finance and infrastructure credit analysis, with a focus on the energy sector.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of financial modeling, data analysis, and credit risk assessment.
