About the Role


The Customer Service Expert will be responsible for processing and managing customer orders, verifying order details, and addressing customer inquiries and requests in a timely manner. You will also coordinate with logistics, operations, and procurement teams to ensure alignment between customer expectations and operations capabilities.



Key Responsibilities



  • Process and manage customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Verify and validate order details to ensure compliance with company policies and customer agreements
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Coordinate with logistics, operations, and procurement teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment between departments
  • Leverage Salesforce to track and analyze customer interactions and activities, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and activities
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement and excellence


Requirements



  • Completed DEC in administration, business, or a related field (asset)
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English (bilingualism in French an asset)
  • Comfortable communicating with customers via phone and email
  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic, drive for success, compassion, integrity, and honesty
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Customer Service Representative in distribution, logistics, or manufacturing industries
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Thrives under pressure, makes quick decisions, and provides excellent problem-solving skills
  • Possesses excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
  • Proven organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of Salesforce and JD Edwards an asset
