Key Responsibilities:

  2. Establishes clear Procurement goals, metrics, and action plans aligned with organizational objectives to drive performance and accountability.
  3. Identifies and recommends solutions to business challenges, fostering collaboration with organizational peers to effectively implement improvements.
  4. Drives enhancements in purchasing processes and systems to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure compliance.
  5. Manages supplier relationships proactively, focusing on improvements in cost, risk mitigation, and the quality of deliverables.
  6. Resolves supplier-related challenges promptly to maintain seamless operations.
  7. Leads competitive bidding and supplier negotiation efforts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the organization.
  8. Oversees the selection and approval process for new suppliers, ensuring they meet organizational standards and requirements.
  9. Collaborates with the Legal team to ensure comprehensive supply agreements are established and maintained.
  10. Promotes a structured approach to competitive bidding, supplier selection, and contract approval, ensuring thorough vetting and execution.
  11. Facilitates effective contract management, including robust document control and monitoring of supplier agreement expirations, terminations, or renewals.
  12. Provides detailed spend analytics to support informed decision-making and fulfill the purchasing needs of internal business units.
  13. Maintains oversight and governance of organizational standards and policies for third-party purchases.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  1. 8-10 years of comprehensive experience in procurement, sourcing, and supplier management, including 2 years in IT.
  2. Over five years of leadership experience in directing sourcing and procurement functions, with a proven track record in strategically overseeing third-party acquisitions of goods and services.
  3. Proven expertise in establishing and enhancing a comprehensive Procurement function to optimize efficiency and drive cost savings.
  4. Expert in developing and executing detailed project plans, ensuring timely delivery of business objectives.
  5. Exceptional presentation skills, effectively engaging with executive leadership to communicate strategies and outcomes.
  6. Strong collaborator, able to work with cross-functional stakeholders at all organizational levels to achieve common goals.
  7. Customer-focused mindset, skilled in influencing and driving actions that align with business needs while maintaining a professional and positive demeanor.
  8. Analytical aptitude for understanding key cost drivers and interpreting financial data to provide actionable business recommendations.
  9. Resilient under pressure, managing multiple tasks, deadlines, and shifting priorities with ease.
  10. Strong verbal and written communication skills, fostering effective partnerships with business partners, suppliers, and regional teams.
  11. Expert negotiation abilities, achieving optimal outcomes in vendor agreements and contracts.
  12. Demonstrates integrity and reliability in all professional interactions.
  13. Bachelor's Degree and/or MBA in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
  14. Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.
