Job Title: Design and Engineering Business Unit Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Unit Director to lead our Design and Engineering team in Canada. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, developing and implementing strategies, and mentoring and leading a team of senior specialists.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and profitability
  • Lead and motivate a team of senior specialists to achieve business objectives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to deliver service excellence and drive organic revenue growth
  • Identify and develop talent within the business unit to ensure succession planning and career development
  • Manage risk and ensure compliance with governance processes to deliver service excellence and client satisfaction
Requirements:
  • 15+ years of experience leading and growing a significant business function within a professional services firm
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and profitability
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • Strong commercial skills, with a sound knowledge of the industry and demonstrated entrepreneurial behavior
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in Canada
