Job Title: Design and Engineering Business Unit Director, Canada

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Business Unit Director to lead our Design and Engineering team in Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the business strategy, leading a team of senior specialists, and driving growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement the business strategy for the Design and Engineering team in Canada
* Lead a team of senior specialists, including practice group managers, service managers, project managers, and technical managers
* Drive growth and profitability through the delivery of service excellence and the identification of new business opportunities
* Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet their expectations
* Maintain an in-depth understanding of the market and identify key trends and emerging opportunities

Requirements:

* A licensed Professional Engineer in Canada
* At least 15+ years of experience leading and growing a significant business function within a professional services firm
* Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
* A high level of intellectual, professional, and interpersonal agility and flexibility
