Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Specialist to join our team at Manpower Services Canada Limit. As an essential member of our crew, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining heating systems, ventilation systems, and air conditioning systems.

About the Role:

This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, and working in various environments. You will work closely with our team to ensure efficient installation and maintenance of our systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair heating systems, ventilation systems, and air conditioning systems.
  • Measure and lay out reference points for installation.
  • Read blueprints or other instructions to determine work requirements.
  • Troubleshoot heating systems, ventilation systems, and air conditioning systems.
  • Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components.
  • Cochet and instruct apprentices.
  • Measure, cut, and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment.
  • Provide customer service.
  • Start up system and test for leaks using testing devices.
  • Perform maintenance such as recharging system with refrigerant, checking and testing regulators or calibrating system.
  • Handle, recover, and store refrigerants.
  • Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, or heat pump systems.

Requirements:

  • Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Trade Certification.
  • Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Red Seal Certificate.
  • Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) Certificate.
