Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) Technician to join our team at Manpower Services Canada Limit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various HVAC systems in commercial and residential settings.

Responsibilities
  • Installation: Install and overhaul heating systems, ventilation, air handling, and air conditioning systems, ensuring all components meet safety and performance standards.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including recharging system refrigerant, checking regulators, and calibrating systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Repair: Troubleshoot and repair heating and air conditioning systems, identifying and resolving issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Tasks: Measure and lay out reference points for installation, assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components, provide customer service, and coach apprentices as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required, with additional education or certification preferred.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair is essential.
  • Certifications: Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Trade Certification, Red Seal Certificate, and Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) Certificate are mandatory.
