About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team in Squamish, BC.

As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring our fleet of trucks and heavy-duty equipment is up and running smoothly. This involves performing routine maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on diesel, CNG, gas, and electrically operated trucks, as well as associated heavy-duty equipment.

What You Will Do:

  • Maintenance and repair of heavy-duty trucks and equipment
  • Perform routine inspections and diagnostic testing
  • Complete daily reports and work orders
  • Plan and schedule repairs
  • Assist in reviewing mechanical write-ups and coordinate repair schedules

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year experience as a Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic
  • Relevant criteria for safety-sensitive functions according to Company standards
  • Fine motor coordination with arm, hand, finger, and leg dexterity
  • Ability to kneel, crawl, and climb

Working Conditions:

  • May include exposure to dust, noise, heat, cold, and fumes

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Estimated salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience
