The estimated salary for this position is between $80,000 to $110,000, based on the candidate's experience, training, skills, and internal equity considerations.

Job Description:
As an Intermediate Electrical Distribution Engineer at CIMA+, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in electrical distribution infrastructure, including poles, wires, vaults, duct banks, and cables. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting the efficient operation of the distribution team, developing design work packages, resolving design and field engineering problems, and delivering exceptional customer service by communicating with stakeholders and performing various activities. Additionally, you will provide specialized expertise in Distribution, set high standards for work performance, influence the establishment of standards, frameworks, and targets for junior members of the team, and exercise innovation to propose creative modifications to improve work processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should have 7+ years of experience in an engineering role with specific Distribution knowledge, preferably within British Columbia. You must hold a P.Eng designation or be eligible to become a P.Eng with EGBC. Experience working with utilities in Western Canada and familiarity with GIS, CAD systems, drawing standards, and industry design/analysis software such as SPIDAcalc and PLSCAD are also essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to different understanding levels of the audience are crucial for success in this position. Finally, you must be available for occasional travel within Western Canada and maintain effective working relationships with clients, staff, and other employees.
