Overview of the Role

This position is responsible for overseeing the travel operations of our agency, ensuring that all travel-related tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of travel clerks to ensure that all travel-related tasks are completed to a high standard.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the travel department, including coordinating travel arrangements and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the travel department.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that travel-related tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and stakeholders, ensuring that their travel needs are met and exceeded.

Requirements and Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a travel-related industry.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency in computer software and technology, including Microsoft Office and travel-related software.

Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities

This role requires the ability to work in a standard office environment, with regular interaction with colleagues and clients. The successful candidate will be required to sit for extended periods, use a computer and other office equipment, and communicate effectively with others.
