Business Analyst Role

About the Job:

As a Business Analyst at Global Pharma Tek, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and improvement through data-driven insights. We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team, who can analyze complex business problems, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct requirements gathering, use case analysis, and detailed design activities to develop business requirements and system specifications.
  • Develop and maintain documentation and training materials to support business stakeholders and IT teams.
  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions with stakeholders to validate and prioritize business needs and requirements.
  • Analyze and document workflows, business processes, and standard operating procedures to identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare test plans, test cases, and support user acceptance testing initiatives to ensure high-quality solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of training guides, system support documentation, and tools to support business stakeholders and IT teams.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working as a Business Analyst in the IM/IT field.
  • Experience working in a health analytics or health reporting database system for Regional Health Authorities and/or Department of Health in a Canadian jurisdiction.
  • Business Analyst Certifications such as IIBA-CBAP, IIBA-ECBA.
