About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at BC Cancer. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our cancer services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat patients with undifferentiated diseases, illnesses, and conditions within the scope of practice of a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
  • Prescribe medications and order diagnostic investigations as necessary.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families.
  • Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to improve patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • Eligibility to complete the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) through the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • Minimum of four (4) years of recent, relevant clinical nursing experience.
