About the Job


We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead our team in developing innovative energy solutions. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for managing electrical projects from conception through to operations, including front-end planning and project controls.



Job Description


The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and/or project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within scope, and within budget. You will be responsible for:



  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Supporting project development team initiatives as appropriate
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation
  • Ensuring compliance with commercial and project management framework
  • Tracking and reporting on project performance, status, schedules, and budgets
  • Suggesting strategies to proactively overcome challenges and minimize project risks
  • Maintaining close liaison with field construction forces and operations
  • Visiting various site locations, manufacturers, and suppliers as required
  • Optimizing internal processes to improve efficiency


Required Skills and Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you will require:



  • A university degree in engineering or related field
  • PMP certification is an asset
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering and/or project management
  • Direct experience managing electrical projects involving solar, batteries, generation, distribution, or EVs is an asset
  • Experience leading and overseeing construction site operations, system commissioning activities, and compliance with related health and safety and environmental regulations
  • Technical knowledge of EV charging, battery storage, and other electrical equipment
  • Self-initiated and intellectually curious, with a strong interest in electrification
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills


Benefits


We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
