- Plan and co-ordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Co-ordinate inspection of assigned areas to identify and address any issues or concerns.
- Supervise staff to ensure they are meeting the required standards of cleanliness and customer service.
- Co-ordinate contract services to maintain the hotel's facilities and equipment.
- Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met at all times.
- Supervise maintenance and repair services to ensure the hotel's facilities are well-maintained.
- Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment and uniforms to ensure that staff have the necessary resources to perform their duties.
- Supervise in-house laundry services to ensure that linens and uniforms are clean and well-maintained.
- Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff to ensure that all areas of the hotel are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
- Co-ordinate dry cleaning and valet services to ensure that guests' clothing and personal items are cleaned and returned to them in a timely manner.
- Ensure that local health and sanitation regulations are carried out at all times.
- Respond to complaints of guests in a professional and courteous manner.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Permanent employment.
- English as the primary language of communication.
- 30 to 40 hours per week.
