Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Information and Data Analyst to join our team at Fraser Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex health data to inform decision-making and support public health initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze health data from various sources, including government agencies, healthcare providers, and community organizations.
  • Develop and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and other data management systems to support data analysis and reporting.
  • Design and implement data visualization tools to communicate complex data insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with epidemiologists, biostatisticians, and other health professionals to analyze and interpret data for public health purposes.
  • Develop and maintain geographic information systems (GIS) to support spatial analysis and mapping.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity by monitoring and addressing data errors and inconsistencies.
  • Develop and maintain documentation and reports to support data analysis and decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Health Sciences, Statistics, or related field.
  • Three to five years of recent experience in health data analysis and management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work with complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in data analysis software, including GIS, R, SAS, and Tableau.
