Job Title: Server - Food and Beverage Services

We are seeking a skilled Server to join our team at Forest Inn & Conference Centre Inc. as a Server - Food and Beverage Services.

Job Summary:

The Server will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. This includes taking orders, serving food and beverages, and handling customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take orders and serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.
  • Handle customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Prepare and serve specialty food at customers' tables.
  • Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings.
  • Describe menu items including daily specials for customers.
  • Advise on menu selections.
  • Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs.
  • Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
  • Serve food and beverages.
  • Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff.
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs.
  • Provide customer service.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Fast-paced environment.
  • Standing for extended periods.
Weight Handling:
  • Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
