About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Solutions Developer to join our team at Canadian Tire Corporation. As a key member of our Power Platform team, you will design and implement innovative solutions using Microsoft's Power Platform suite, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop custom applications using Power Apps, including canvas apps and model-driven apps.
  • Create automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline business processes and integrate with various systems and services.
  • Develop and customize applications to meet the needs of our business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop user-friendly interfaces.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources into the Power Platform ecosystem using various connectors, APIs, databases, etc.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI to provide business insights.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the Power Platform and Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
Requirements
  • 4-6 years of progressive experience in Automation Development or Information Management.
  • 2+ years of experience with automation platforms, developing efficient processes and activities across multi-environment infrastructure.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Business Intelligence stack including Power BI and Excel.
  • Experience working with Agile development methodology.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, client-facing role where delivering solid work products to exceed high expectations is a measure of success.
  • Willingness to establish strong work relationships with clients and team members.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both a technical and non-technical manner.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, overcome confusion, and simplify complex situations.
