Job Summary

As an Automation Solutions Specialist at JMP Solutions - Canada, you will play a key role in developing comprehensive project proposals to solve complex manufacturing challenges. Your mission will be to deliver innovative automation solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of project opportunities daily, visiting customer manufacturing sites to gain an understanding of their challenges and identify areas of opportunity.
  • Brainstorm and conceptualize custom automation concepts to solve complex manufacturing challenges, taking those concepts from whiteboard sketches to concrete plans for customers.
  • Deliver comprehensive project proposals including scope, costing, schedule, and performance criteria.
Requirements
  • Firsthand experience in the field of robotics, automation, mechanical design, custom machinery, and/or control systems.
  • Talent to conceptualize automation solutions to complex manufacturing challenges while working collaboratively within a team.
  • Amazing communication skills to make presentations to internal teams, customers, and vendor partners.
  • Strong writing skills for preparing proposals and defining project scope.
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Industrial, etc.).
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to travel within Canada.
