The Industrial Automation Solutions Architect is a pivotal member of the Information Systems team, contributing across all operational regions. This position is essential in designing Information/MES/IIoT solution frameworks tailored for clients. Ideal candidates will be involved in multiple phases of solution deployment, ranging from consultancy and requirements analysis to architectural design, development, execution, training, and system commissioning.

Role Overview:

  • Participate in pre-sales assistance, architectural design, and solution deployment
  • Perform gap assessments and identify optimal solutions
  • Serve as a functional lead on various projects
  • Establish and nurture key partnerships with global stakeholders
  • Engage in strategic planning with team leadership
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing software solutions
  • Offer mentorship and educational opportunities to team members

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of experience in manufacturing software
  • Background in industrial manufacturing and control systems
  • Proficiency in requirements specification and architectural design
  • Certification in Inductive Automation's Ignition Platform software
  • Familiarity with industrial automation PLC systems and network architecture
  • Expertise in software tools from Rockwell, Siemens, Aveva/Wonderware, and GE
  • Experience with network design, system virtualization, and related technologies
  • Knowledge of databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.
  • Understanding of application development methodologies and project management principles

Physical Requirements:

  • Regular physical activities include standing, walking, sitting, reaching, and bending
  • Specific vision capabilities are necessary for the role
