Job Summary:

The Yard Labourer & Driver will be responsible for general labour at the Yard as well as deliveries of equipment, material and tools. This position is located out of the Equipment Yard.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Delivering, loading and unloading equipment, material, and tools to construction sites.
  • Performing daily inspections of tools, materials and equipment yard.
  • Inventory control of equipment, material and tools.
  • Assisting with general Yard operations.
  • Maintenance of equipment and tools including troubleshooting and repairs on equipment.
  • General Yard clean up.
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Class 3 drivers license is required with the ability to drive a one ton truck with trailer and experience using ratchet straps/bungees.
  • Experience working with equipment such as skid-steer and small hand tools is required.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs
  • Computer skills are considered an asset.
