About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at FortisBC. As a key member of our department, you will provide administrative support to our team and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide administrative support to the department, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and expense tracking.
  2. Assist with event planning, including venue research, catering, and logistics.
  3. Develop and maintain filing systems, manuals, and other materials.
  4. Support managers with project assignments and perform various administrative tasks as required.
  5. Perform other duties related to the role, as needed.
Requirements
  1. High school graduation, including post-secondary courses in office administration and Microsoft Office products.
  2. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  3. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  4. Ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines.
  5. Previous experience with event planning and administrative support.
