Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at K&J Construction Ltd. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for assisting in various construction tasks, ensuring the smooth execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt under the guidance of experienced crew members.
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Support framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Pave and rake asphalt to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials, maintaining a tidy work environment.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, contributing to a safe working area.
Requirements
  • Physically demanding role requiring the ability to handle heavy loads.
  • Availability to work 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions.
