About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at K&J Construction Ltd. as a Site Assistant. This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work outdoors in various locations, including construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading construction materials, including heavy loads, from vehicles and equipment.
  • Site Preparation: Help prepare construction sites by erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Mixing and Pouring: Assist in mixing and pouring materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Drilling and Blasting: Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
  • Framing and Construction: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Clean-up and Debris Removal: Clean and pile salvaged materials and remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
Work Environment

This role requires working outdoors in various locations, including construction sites. The work environment is physically demanding, with exposure to noise, dust, and heavy loads.
