The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team at one of our six locations in Winnipeg, Selkirk, and Niverville. As a Pharmacist with Federated Co-operatives Limited, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing patient-focused services and professional advice to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide patient-focused services such as injections, medication reviews, and minor ailment prescribing to maximize patient care.
- Ensure all medication dispensing processes are accurate and appropriately managed while focusing on the timely delivery, reporting, invoicing, ordering, and communication.
- Oversee all dispensing duties carried out by a Pharmacy Assistant to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of all prescriptions dispensed.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and competencies:
- You must possess a valid pharmacist license for the province of MB, be in good standing with the College of Pharmacists Manitoba, and have no practice restrictions.
- Preference given to individuals with at least 2 years of experience as a pharmacist.
- You possess strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Previous experience with Kroll pharmacy software is an asset.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess strong, independent problem-solving skills.
