Job Title: RN-RPN Medical Unit – Infectious Disease

Providence Health Care is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our team in the Medical Unit – Infectious Disease. As a valued member of our interdisciplinary clinical team, you will collaborate to deliver compassionate and comprehensive nursing care to patients and residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient/resident status and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide direct nursing interventions for management of crisis and life-threatening situations
  • Document patient/resident progress and outcomes
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participate in nursing research and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
  • Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work as a member of an interdisciplinary team
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
