Medical Laboratory Scientist Position

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Medicine Professional to join our team at destinationone Consulting. This exciting opportunity will allow you to utilize your expertise in conducting complex tests and analyses, overseeing laboratory operations, and mentoring Medical Laboratory Technicians (MLTs).

About the Role:

This position requires a high level of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. You will be responsible for performing advanced laboratory tests and analyses on biological specimens, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test results, developing and validating new testing methods, maintaining laboratory quality control, and training and supervising laboratory personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test Analysis and Quality Control: Perform advanced laboratory tests and analyses on biological specimens, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test results.
  • Method Development and Validation: Develop and validate new testing methods to improve laboratory efficiency and accuracy.
  • Laboratory Operations Management: Oversee laboratory operations, including quality control and compliance with regulations.
  • Training and Supervision: Train and supervise laboratory personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements:
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
  • Certification: Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (e.g., ASCP, CSMLS).
  • Technical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
