Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate chemical process equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety guidelines.
  • Start up and shutdown equipment for routine and emergency situations.
  • Maintain systems at specified temperature, pressure, or vacuum levels by operating valves or manipulating controls.
  • Troubleshoot problems using unit methodology and collaborate with coworkers and technical personnel to resolve conditions affecting safety, efficiency, and product quality.
  • Perform daily rounds to inspect equipment for leaks and hazards, record instrument readings, and maintain production records.
  • Ensure safety is a priority in all individual tasks and interactions with fellow employees.
  • Respond to unit emergency situations according to emergency action plans.

Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing or similar environment preferred.
  • A College or University Degree preferred.
  • You must be a self-starter with the ability to work unsupervised.

About This Opportunity:
