Chemical Process Specialist

About the Role
Evonik is seeking a skilled Chemical Process Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our chemical manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate chemical process equipment in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols.
- Monitor process equipment and instruments to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues.
- Make control adjustments as necessary to meet quality and efficiency standards.
- Troubleshoot problems and collaborate with colleagues and technical personnel to resolve issues affecting safety, efficiency, and product quality.
- Perform routine and non-routine housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 2-5 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing or similar environment preferred.
- College or University Degree preferred.
- Self-starter with ability to work unsupervised.
Physical Demands
Medium-to-Heavy work: lifting up to 55 pounds frequently and pushing/pulling up to 100 pounds.
