About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Central Grand Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Culinary Leadership: Provide culinary direction and leadership to the kitchen team, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
  • Menu Development: Work with the culinary team to develop and implement new menu ideas, ensuring that they are innovative, delicious, and meet the needs of our customers.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the management of kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Staff Training: Provide training and guidance to kitchen staff on food preparation, presentation, and service standards.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all dishes meet our high standards.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all kitchen staff are aware of and adhere to health and safety protocols, including food safety and hygiene practices.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, standing for extended periods, and work under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, and time management.
