About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at Vaco. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and support to our business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Transaction Management: Record and process day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness within our accounting system.
  • Customer Invoice Coordination: Coordinate and prepare customer invoices, reconcile monthly invoice activity, and manage related support materials.
  • Financial Forecasting and Reporting: Assist the Finance Manager in forecasting processes and prepare quarterly strategic review (QSR) presentations.
  • Delinquent Account Management: Proactively identify and escalate past-due customer accounts, recommending actions for resolution.
  • Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain complete records of financial transactions in accordance with IFRS and internal timelines.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Assist in preparing internal monthly financial statements, including account reconciliation, analytical review, and variance analysis.
  • Journal Entry Preparation: Prepare and record journal entries for month-end close.
  • Expense Allocation: Properly allocate expenses by thoroughly analyzing invoices and expense reports.
About You
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Professional Development: Pursuing CPA designation.
  • Skills: Highly organized, strong time management skills, effective communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience: Experience working with Microsoft Great Plains is an asset.
Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $75,000 per year. Vaco offers a competitive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
