About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Coordinator to join our team at Headwaters Health Care Centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Operating Room Department
  • Perform clerical and administrative tasks to ensure smooth operation of the assigned unit
  • Manage patient records and maintain confidentiality
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, staff, and patients
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating patient appointments
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Ward Clerk certificate or equivalent experience
  • Medical terminology and understanding of the healthcare system
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with Meditech and order entry
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work unsupervised in a high-pressure position
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
