About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter to join our team at Kans Exteriors Ltd. As a Finish Carpenter, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of exterior finishes on our renovation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to create seamless exterior finishes.
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
  • Estimate costs and materials to ensure efficient project planning and execution.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings, including mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.
Work Environment

As a Finish Carpenter at Kans Exteriors Ltd, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in dusty conditions.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
