Assembly Technician Job Description

Vishay Sprague, Inc. is seeking an Assembly Technician to join our team in Ontario, California. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for performing assembly and test of wirewound potentiometers to drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform assembly and test of wirewound potentiometers to drawings and specifications.
  • May move from process to process as necessary.
  • May assist Lead in issuance of material, breakdown of kits, training or other miscellaneous duties.
  • May be assigned to other duties in other departments or areas as needed.
  • May be asked to perform other tasks as assigned by Lead and Manager.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work under a microscope.
  • Demonstrate good written and communication skills.
  • Be able to perform the basic process operations in the manufacturing of potentiometers in the assigned work centers while meeting labor standards.
  • Ability to read, interpret and follow engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Utilize inspection gauges, tools and electronic test equipment.
  • Demonstrate knowledge, aptitude and manual coordination.
