Product Technician – Testing and Assembly

At AUG Signals, we're seeking an experienced Electronics Assembly Technician to join our team in York, ON. This is a 6-month contract position with the possibility of extension into a full-time permanent role.

About the Role

We're looking for someone who can assemble, install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain electronic components and systems. The ideal candidate will have experience working with process documentations, quality assurance, and testing.

  • Assemble and install electronic components and systems
  • Repair and troubleshoot faulty products
  • Conduct quality assurance tests
  • Identify and label defective products
  • Collaborate with the Production Engineer to improve processes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 2+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing or assembly
  • Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (Bachelor's degree preferred)
  • Experience with soldering and general troubleshooting
  • Ability to read and understand technical documentation
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position with regular working hours. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $27.50 per hour, based on industry standards and the location of the position.
