About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Foreman/Woman to join our team at MJF General Contractors Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit production reports to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance productivity and product quality.
  • Resolve work-related issues, provide technical guidance, and suggest measures to boost efficiency.
  • Supervise a team of 3-4 Carpenters and coordinate project activities.
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure team members have the necessary skills.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and establish methods to meet project deadlines.
  • Review blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements.
  • Procure materials and supplies as needed.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 35-40 hour workweek. The work environment is outdoors, noisy, and located in a construction setting.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • English language proficiency.
