Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft high-quality concept plans, site plans, and other project-related documentation
  • Support project teams with report writing and documentation
  • Conduct technical assessments and data analysis for land use and development projects
  • Prepare and submit planning and development applications
  • Liaise with clients, municipalities, and agencies for project coordination
  • Assist in coordinating multi-disciplinary project teams
  • Review complex planning and development applications
  • Provide development support to other disciplines
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure project requirements are met
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Planning Technician Program
  • Minimum 2 years of technical planning work experience
  • Membership in the Canadian Association of Certified Planning Technicians
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D Visualizations, and Presentation Graphics
  • Proficiency in Geographic Information Systems and related software
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in preparing documentation
  • Familiarity with Planning and Development processes, Building Legislation, Municipal and Provincial Guidelines, and Standards
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office skills
Estimated Salary Range:

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
