Your Opportunity

We are seeking a Casual Transfer Station Attendant to join our team at our Rolla and Tomslake domestic garbage transfer sites. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service to individuals dropping off garbage and recycling, while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Exercise good public relations at all times
  • Open and close access gates in accordance with hours of operation
  • Conduct routine inspections of perimeter fences
  • Dispose of unauthorized materials
  • Direct traffic flow and supervise waste placement
  • Remove non-compliant materials and prevent scavenging
  • Maintain facility cleanliness and perform winter maintenance tasks

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of general laborer experience
  • Competent in completing daily documents
  • Good understanding of regional occupational health and safety requirements
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work in challenging environments
