Job Title: Field Service Technician

As a Field Service Technician with Michael Page International Canada Limited, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' metal fabrication equipment. Reporting to the Service Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough troubleshooting and repair services on company equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Execute Preventive Maintenance on company equipment to prevent downtime and ensure efficiency.
  • Utilize company software to track service calls, generate reports, and document installation activities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, interacting professionally and clearly with clients to address their technical needs.
  • Offer telephone technical support to customers and conduct training sessions as required.
  • Collaborate with other Field Engineers as directed to ensure seamless service delivery.

Our ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in mechanical or electrical engineering, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial machinery. Proficiency in Fiber Laser Systems/CNC Hydraulic press brakes and Siemens controllers is a significant asset. Additionally, the ability to travel nationally and possess a valid Driver's License Full G category is essential.
