About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Atlantic Motel. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional service.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of the cleaning team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inspect and Maintain Standards: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure our hotel meets the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Recommend Services: Identify areas for improvement and recommend additional services, such as painting, repairs, or equipment replacement, to maintain our hotel's high standards.
  • Assist with Cleaning Duties: Assist the cleaning team with their duties as needed, ensuring our hotel remains clean and welcoming for our guests.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and efficient use of resources.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, or resort environment.
  • Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, judgement, and reliability.
