Role Overview

As a Business Development Associate, you will work closely with an Advisor to support growth through prospecting and developing new client relationships. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and strengthening prospecting relationships by developing business development campaigns.
  • Building new relationships via client referrals, lead lists, and cold calling.
  • Preparing client proposals, investment recommendations, and/or service agreements.
  • Tracking prospects through our client management system.
  • Facilitating account opening through the gathering of information and required documentation.
  • Working with Advisor and Total Wealth Specialists to deepen client relationships through total wealth planning.

Requirements

We're looking for a self-motivated and results-driven individual with:

  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Experience in a sales, relationship, or account management role.
  • Experience in the securities industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
  • Exceptional client service skills, providing a professional and respectful experience.
  • Investment Representative (IR) or Registered Representative (RR) license with CIRO.
