Job Summary

The Pharmacy Retail Clerk is a vital member of our team at Churchill Health Centre, providing exceptional client service and supporting the Pharmacist in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with clerical and reception duties, ensuring a positive experience for clients.
  • Provide accurate and efficient service, utilizing computer systems and office equipment as required.
  • Work collaboratively with the public, staff, and other healthcare professionals to achieve excellent patient care.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Represent Churchill Health Centre in a professional and positive manner, adhering to our high standards of quality and service.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 education or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in clerical and/or secretarial duties an asset.
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology an asset.
  • Computer knowledge in Word, Excel programs an asset.
  • Familiarity with office systems, photocopiers, facsimiles, and complex telephone systems.
  • Accuracy and precision in detailed work, consistent with accepted standards of practice in a pharmacy workplace.

Working Conditions

  • May involve heavy lifting, eye strain, and exposure to communicable diseases.
  • May require working in extreme outside weather conditions.
  • Competing priorities and deadlines.
